As a graphic designer I love paper and everything which relates to paper and craft. I like blogs about it e.g. Oh happy day,  Hello Sandwich and Mini Eco.  I am also fond of masking tape. So when I was in Japan last spring, I felt like I was  in heaven with all kinds of large and intimate shops full of craft stuff and stationary

But where to buy all these nice things which make me happy in Delft? I did some exploration and I must conclude that it is difficult to find nice places to buy these things. At the Hema (a large Dutch departmentstore with trendy stuff) they sell some of it just like at Flying Tiger, but apart from that…

I tried a large stationary store at the Choorstraat in the center of Delft called A.J. Prins. This store has been there for ages. It is a family run business and it feels inside like time stood still. The interior has not changed from how it looked at the beginning and the atmosphere is very decent. They have everything you need for the office like furniture, little machines, but also envelopes, stationary, punches etc. But still I miss something, my beloved masking tape and some other more trendy stuff…

At Prins you’ll find what you need if you want something practical. And you don’t have to search as they keep everything at the same place. That is time saving!

But it is not that trendy paper shop I am looking for. Maybe I should start that one myself. Looks like an interesting business opportunity 😉
