Today I received a very nice birthday present from my friend who lives in France. She sent me this beautiful kitchen towel of Tissage Moutet. It is a towel with the picture of the Luxembourg chair, designed by Fermob. You might know them from the public parcs in Paris.

At the Tuilleries and at Jardin du Luxembourg you can use them freely to read a book, enjoy the sun, have a chat or just relax. I love these chairs in public.

The towel reminded me to a similar place in Delft. At the square in front of the faculty of Architecure of the Technical University of Delft are Luxmenbourg chairs to sit on. They are ment to be for the students I think, but no one bothers if you also take a break there.

It’s fun!
