The nice thing about Delft is, that when places disappear, new places pop up in a second. Like Hummus, a new bistro in Delft which serves Hummus, Hummus and other vegetarian Mediterranean food. And it is so nice!!!

I love the retro eighties interior, it reminds me of my first Swatch watch Valkyrie (yes, I am a fan) mixed with a lot of plants.

And the food, the most important thing, is good. We took the Humus original and Hummus with eggplant both served with pita bread and a little salad and the sweet potato fries as a side dish. First of all it all looked great, and second, it was delicious. We had it with a fresh blackberry smoothie. And we chose an interesting desert. I forgot the name but it is made of rice flour and rose syrup.

When I looked at the menu, I saw many gluten free options (like the desert I had). They work with bread so cross contamination can happen, but still, this might be an interesting spot for celiac patients too.

Hummus is a very nice surprising little restaurant in Delft. I love it and will come back soon.

If you are there, do not forget to use the toilet, for a little smile.
